and why am I almost freaking out

Oh boy do I have some exciting news to share with you and I am getting right to the point immediately! I will be having my art exhibited in Bled, Slovenia. More specifically, in April 2025 in the round tower of Bled’s castle. Isn’t this awesome? I still almost can’t believe it.

This was such a dream come true when I got to receive the news. Because, when I first discovered one can have an exhibition there, a little dream was born. And now… well, now I get to make art for this beautiful place and I am thrilled in more than one way.

But mostly, I am just trying to keep myself out of going into panic mode. Because I would like to make new pieces for this which means producing 16 bigger pictures in a year. And maybe this doesn’t sound like a big thing to you, but to me… well to me, that’s a whole lotta lot :) Especially since I mostly do small sizes and one or two bigger ones per year. Mostly one, because I make it for my favourite ex tempore which is hosted right there, in Bled, too.

So, from now on, I will be sharing all about my Project Bled because I want to record it no matter how it will evolve.

And knowing myself I won’t exactly be making it be easy but I am prepared to fight with my ego and make it as FUN as I can :) So many things have already come up: the impostor syndrome, the unworthiness, the perfectionist, you name it but I hope that because I am fully aware of the fact that I am entering a very special battle field I at least have some things working for me.

And because Universe is so awesome, it got me TWO exhibitions! The other one will take place in Vrhnika’s library and I will have a friend to exhibit with. It will be displayed during September and October 2025 and I was thinking of making a few needle felted sculptures for it. Until I heard about Bled lol. Now I don’t know anything anymore apart from … JUST START! :)

Yeah, I better get my sketchbook out and ask my soul what it wants to put out there. Wish me luck please and stay tuned for the updates.
