January has been intense so far, loads of shifts, a-ha moments, intense feeling overloads topped up with some, hard for me, creative work. I have these short movies accompanied with animations to work on and it would be much easier if I knew all about animation already :D But I don’t, so I am learning as I go and thus struggling a bit. But I’ll get better and things will improve. Now you know why in the middle of all of this I couldn’t cope with the financial side of setting up payments too. Because that is new for me especially with our system here that I won’t even start writing about.
BUT! I have found a very good solution that hears by the name Patreon :)
Soooo, here’s what’s coming up…
In January, I shall keep my Weekly Creative Boost free of charge. This will give you a chance to try it out for yourself and see how cool it is :)
Then, by the end of January I will invite you to my Patreon page where the rest of this year’s of Nini’s Weekly Creative Boosts will continue for a small monthly fee. What say you?
Let me know in the comments as I am eager to know what you guys think/feel about this and also, it gives me an idea if this is something you’d actually want.
Anyways, to not loose the chance of ending up with 52 creative pages at the end of this year, I present to you the first image to work with. Click on it, save it to your computer and print it out to play with it. Turn it around and see what you can find, what calls out to you and then go from there. I promise you, that as soon as you see one thing, outline it and maybe color it, something else will appear. This is really a very fun process once you take your inner critic/perfectionist/ego mind out of the way.
Alternatively, you can play with it on your favourite tablet app. Now that I finally received Procreate I know I’ll be trying that too :)
I’d love to see what you come up with so either post it here in the comment or on your IG account and hashtag it with #creatingwithnini so that I’ll be able to see it.
Happy creating and see you soon!
♥
With much love,
Nina
I love it! I have just installed "Kirta", free PC app for digital drawing. Now I hope I will find and take time <3 Thank you for the push in that direction <3
