It kinda goes with today’s date to wish you all a Happy Easter although I might be a little too late for this… not sure really, do let me know please as I am not exactly fluent in these celebrations but I do believe they managed to sneak in my drawing yesterday :)
I was able to record my process so keep an eye on my YouTube channel if you’re curious how this one evolved. I stopped a few times in between to cook and then eat too lol, so there will probably be a certain change in light visible over the entire video. But it is how these go, sometimes I draw them over multiple days and sometimes I just need to be quicker because it is already Sunday and well, my posts go out on Mondays :D
There wasn’t so much detail in this one as there was in last week’s but I still love it very much. These really are so much fun to get lost in. I still couldn’t get myself to use anything other than colored pencils though, but one of these days I will bring out my gouache and it is only because I would like to. I think I need to play with it first to get a hang of it as I have a bunch of different brands, mostly cheap stuff, so I better do some discoveries first before I tackle anything else. Makes sense, right? Any recommendations about which gouache is best to paint with?
Other than this I have nothing else to share and I know I hinted about something last week but I just didn’t get the chance to do what I wanted so you will have to wait a wee bit longer :)
Here’s a photo of my new favourite mug though :) I loved it so much I just had to allow it to come home with me :) Does the inscription resonate with you too?
Let’s go then! :)
See you next week! Happy creating in the mean time.
With much love,
♥
